The Rancor Strikes Back

Fellow Noders welcome. Its good to have you here and its good to be here. First things first our guild tag! As you'd expect we decided to go with TMN (The Modal Nodes). We feel that TMN has a nice ring to it while not detracting from our name too much. Also remember that tag because it'll be the talking point of other clans for weeks to come.

We are interested in daily players who are looking to put in the time to increase the ability of their roster and payouts, which, in turn will increase the payouts of all other members who are involved in those raids. Were not too certain how its going to pan out as the details that have been released don't cover everything and we don't know how the leaderboards are going to work but we ideally want to be placing top 50 week in week out.

As your main point of communication I will be in charge of the website and also a social platform we can use to chat through on a regular basis. In the next 2 days i plan to have all this set up and to be inviting players to join as soon as possible, we want to be in the best possible position going for the top payout and ready to hit a raid hard on Sunday. Along with developing a social platform I also view this guild as somewhat of a community, we wish to reward those who deserve to be rewarded. I aim to set up a player of the week and a slayer of the week.

Player of the week will be awarded to that player who places top of the guild from raids done (not entirely sure how they work this out but I believe they have dedicated leaderboards within the guilds to work this out for us).

Slayer of the week will be awarded to the person who is just generally slaying that week, taking into account; tips shared, advice given to the less strong players, damage dealt in raids and rewards received.

Each of these winners every week will have the opportunity to feature a piece in the blog on the dos and do nots of being a good, SWGOH guild player.

Thats all from me

A brief word from our guild leader, the reason for the title.

A basic strategy before the actual release and looking at the Rancor, on how to do as much damage as possible before it kills us all.

Three words; Healers, Turn-meter gainers. First off, Barris to ignore healing block and also to heal on a standard attack if were lucky. Han to get extra turn meter and taunt, coupled with Phasma and her turn meter plus enemy slow would be just the extra hits we need. The next two are the mega damage dealers, the finishers, QGJ and IG-86 as they both have a call to assist and both can deal impressive damage.

Thats my suspected top 5 to face off against the Rancor, one to watch is;

Fives - not the best character although his counter and speed down may prove useful.

JEREMY'S FARMING TIPS AT A GLIMPSE

#1

Daka - A galaxy of heroes essential! She can grant revive and multi-stun.

#2

Phasma - A fantastic leader granting extra attacks, turn meter and slows enemy. A potentially lethal combo.

#3

Storm trooper Han - One of the coolest characters, has an impressive taunt and grants turn meter.
